As a result of continued growth, Redsquid Communications (est. 2003 and based in Borehamwood, Herts.) is now recruiting for 2-3 high caliber sales people for newly created Business Development Manager roles.
 
We are looking for skilled in sales executives to assist us on our way to becoming the UK's No. 1 provider of mobile, fixed line and data solutions to UK business customers. To achieve that success you will be given strong leadership and the training (structured) and ongoing support that will equip you with the skills you need. You will be trained in product knowledge, lead research, generation and development, advanced sales techniques, cold calling, presentations, closing, negotiation, proposal development, relationship building and management, and sales cycle management, amongst others. There is also genuine opportunity for career advancement.
 
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identifying sales prospects through lead research and generation
• Cold calling (phone-based) to make your own appointments
• Face-to-face meetings and presentations
• Providing customers with tailored proposals
• Negotiation
• Managing the sales cycle
• Closing sales
• Complete administrative tasks associated with sales process, and liaising with the account management team where appropriate
 
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs):
• Revenue generated in relation to monthly targets
• Number of outbound contacts per day
• Number of appointments attended
 
SELECTION CRITERIA
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Basic knowledge of telecoms industry
• Proven and demonstrable telesales and field sales experience
• Good problem-solving and negotiation abilities (training given)
• Working to (and exceeding targets)
• Willingness to learn
• Desire to develop structured career path Qualifications and Personal Capabilities
• Recent field AND telesales experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Relevant qualifications desirable, but not necessary
• Strong customer focus
• Goal and results oriented
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work to, and exceed, targets
• Drive and integrity, with an ability to handle rejections from customers

• Have your own reliable car
• Have recent tele- and field sales experience of at least 12 months
• Have worked in a B2B sales environment
