Expanding Telecommunications Company in Dublin currently wishes to recruit a Software Developer/ Engineer to join the team for a fixed contract of 6 months to begin as soon as possible.
The purpose of this role is the development and support of back office software integration modules and web portals using the latest in Java and .NET Technologies.
Principal Duties:
Deliver integration and web based solutions
Working with business team to understand requirement, prototyping etc.
Estimating development tasks and delivering quality deliverables to strict deadlines
Participation in regular team meetings reporting progress to IT Manager Production of high quality documentation as part of software development lifecycle
The suitable individual will possess the following:
Degree in Computer Science
3+ years development experience
4 years experience in PHP/PERL
Experience in SNMP v2c and NET-SNMP
Unix experience
Strong development skills within Hibernate and Spring frameworks
3+ years HTML/DHTML/XHTML/Javascript/similar technology
Experience building large scale enterprise level web portal and integration suites
Required experience using Tomcat/JBoss and at least one market leading
Application Server Expertise in all aspects of Java Web programming including some of the following: JSP, Servlets, Struts, Tapestry, JSF, Wicket, .Net and ASP
Software build experience using Ant/Maven HTML, XML, SOAP, CSS Design patterns, UML and OO-design principals JavaScript and AJAX
Webservice development and integration XML, XSD and XSLT
Familiar with software deployment and lifecycle management
Experience in Graphic Design an advantage
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Salary region €60-65K depending on experience, qualifications etc.
