mpany Info: A locum cardiac technician is sought to perform basic cardiac physiology functions including ETT, Holter monitoring, stress testing, Ambulatory blood monitoring, ECG, pulmonary function testing and tape analysis. This general acute hospital has a friendly team and a well-equipped department and they are looking for someone who is available to take up the position immediately and stay on for 8 – 10 weeks.
Responsibilities:
The post holder undertakes and provides clinical reports directly to the consultant /medical/ surgical team.
The post holder is responsible for prioritising in patient workload according to clinical need and urgency.
Patient spectrum is from paediatric through to care of the elderly with varying ranges of mental ability and encompasses all specialities within the acute hospital setting.
Requirements:
BSc (Hons) Clinical Measurement or equivalent.
Experience performingETT, Holter monitoring, stress testing, Ambulatory blood monitoring, ECG, pulmonary function testing and tape analysis.
