Position: Senior Radiographer (CT and MRI)

 

Location: Essex, UK

 

Te mporary/Contract/Permanent: Permanent

 

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

 

 

Co mpany Info: This well-established, private organisation is seeking Radiographers experienced either within CT or MRI due to expansion of the organisation. Responsibilities:

 

 

·         Set and maintain the highest standards of imaging and patient care, leading by example.

 

·         Supervise and teach staff as necessary.

 

·         Ensure that training and quality issues are addressed promptly and effectively and that relevant information is properly communicated to those who require it.

 

·         Ensure economic and effective use of resources.

 

·         Take reasonable care of all equipment used, reporting any faults or breakdowns.

 

·         Take early remedial action to limit effects of equipment failure or damage.

 

·         Maintain a professional approach at all times, preserving the dignity and confidence of patients including during their preparation and aftercare.

 

·         Be aware of actions and attitudes on patients and visitors to the department.

 

·         Promote and maintain effective working relationships and communication with clinicians and other health care staff.

 

·         Attend relevant training programmes as required.

 

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • HPC registered as a radiographer.

     

  • Ideally have a minimum of two years post registration experience within CT and MRI.
