Salary: £28,000 - £35,000

 

 

Co mpany Info: This in a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Mammographer to join a multi-disciplinary team comprising of General / Breast Surgeons, Breast Care Nurses, Radiologists, Pathologists, Oncologists and Plastic Surgeons and work within the team to provide a first-class service to its patients.

 

 

 

Within this unit, rapid access clinics for both routine and urgent assessment of all breast symptoms are provided as well as clinics for follow-up & results clinics and also family history clinics. This hospital is renowned for clinical excellence and the post offers the scope for an experienced Mammographer to carve out their own role and develop the general and breast imaging services offered by the hospital. The successful candidate will need to have strong mammography experience and a passion in the area of Women’s Health. Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform a range of mammography procedures as required throughout the unit, managing patient priority as appropriate.

     

  • Contribute positively to an effective and responsive imaging service.

     

  • Assist in workflow management.

     

  • Ensure that all patient data is recorded for both patient record integrity and audit purposes.

     

  • Encourage the highest professional and technical standards are achieved.

     

  • Maintain a high level of professional and technical standards through participation in personal CPD.

     

  • Practice a high level of customer care.

     

 

Requirements:

 

  • BSc Radiography or equivalent.

     

  • State Registration with the Health Professions Council (HPC), UK.

     

  • Possess a Postgraduate Certificate in Mammography.
