The company
Our client is a specialist Mechanical engineering company located in North Kildare. Due to the success of the company they are looking to fill the position of Technical Support Project Coordinator. The successful candidate will receive full training; with the first few months being office based then getting the opportunity to visit sites. Official training from all suppliers (manufacturers) based in the UK and Germany will also be provided.
Ideal Person:
The ideal candidate should have a relevant 3rd level qualification with a minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience
Excellent technical skills
AutoCAD is preferable but not essential
Experience with site work (mechanical contractor) and site support (surveying and problem solving) would be an advantage
Must have a full clean driver's licence (own car preferable)
Overview of the successful candidate's duties
• Identify and understand customer’s requirements,
Source products and validate specification
Review and calculate costs with sales team
Manages all aspects of the order process, shipping and site co ordination
Driving sales for the company
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Effectively communicates procedural and technical issues to internal and external customers in a fast paced and customer critical environment
Performs specification of products
Maintains a "closed-loop" communication style assuring all appropriate individuals are notified of ongoing issues and problem resolution status
Communicates effectively to customers as necessary through a variety of mediums
Monitors and tracks all service calls, provides call status updates at regular intervals
Identifies, documents and escalates customer issues
Coordination of all suppliers, manufacturers, logistics and materials
Providing an internal sales function to increase profitability for the company
Experience:
A minimum of 1-2 years proven and successful relevant experience
Self motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to communicate with suppliers across all levels
Competent technical, analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work on own initiative
Very good level of PC and administration skills
Have a genuine interest in professional development and the desire to grow with the company
Ability to work in a small team
Career and goal orientated with excellent organisational skills
Friendly outgoing personality
