They are looking to recruit 2 Team Leaders for new highway construction projects in Africa. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to liaise with client personnel and supervise a highway project

Responsibilities:
Supervision of the design and build
To ensure that works are being carried out in accordance with agreed method statements
Working to tight deadlines
Liaising with representatives of the utility companies and their designated contractors
Witnessing tests being carried out by the contractor
Maintenance of records and produce regular detailed reports on progress and quality matters
Cost control and establishment of variation of price indices
Management of support staff
Requirements:
University Engineering Degree with Chartered Status (CEng)
At least 12 years experience in construction supervision
Overseas experience on two or more African Highways projects
Excellent report writing and record keeping skills
You need to be PC literate and a knowledge of AutoCAD required
Strong leadership skills and proven success in supervising teams of people
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
This position will suit a highly motivated, flexible and professional Civil Engineer with a proven track record in the delivery of excellent results
