Responsibilities:
Preparation of geotechnical desk studies
From foundation and earthwork, to site and soil investigations, your contribution will be vital
Planning, implementation, managing and reporting on ground investigations
Design of cut and fill slopes, retaining walls, and foundations
Managing project specific teams of engineers involved in the design of foundations and substructures
Slope stability and earthworks assessments
Report production and project management will be required
Assisting the Technical Director to manage the overall team
·Acting as a coach and mentor
·Liaising with clients
Requirements:
Relevant degree required
A Chartered or near Chartered member of a professional institute
Ideally 6 years plus experience of broadly based experience of geotechnical engineering design
You will have excellent knowledge of UK design codes, standards, specifications, and geotechnical design solutions
Be able to write well, and be confident in presentations
Have strong IT skills, including practical knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS applications
Must be technically excellent
Possess good business development skills and commercial awareness
Have excellent leadership, motivation and communication skills
