Reservoir Geologist - West Africa - 1 year Contract position
A subsurface consultancy that provides a full suite of exploration services and was established to focus on the recovery of hydrocarbon reserves through project development and acquisitions with an emphasis on marginal field development and mature field enhancement. The Company have built an impressive operational portfolio both at home in the North Sea and internationally. Consultancy clients include major operators and new entrants, both in the North Sea and overseas.
Due to growth the Company now require 2 experienced Reservoir Geologists for a 1 year contract for a project in West Africa. The successful candidates will undertake projects based in West Africa and UK (London or Aberdeen).
The candidates will create geological models using Petrel. Must be "hands-on" people with a versatile, flexible approach to work, and who can turn their hand to the many and changing needs of a dynamic business. Must have good communication skills in English - both written and verbal - with strong interpersonal and presentation skills. essential requirements include Degree in Geology, excellent Petrel modelling skills, Extensive Oil and Gas experience, Minimum of 5 years experience in creating Geological Models, Experience in Reservoir modelling, optimisation and Operations, Prospect generation and evaluation, Experience in performing uncertainty analyses.
