Our client requires a sales and marketing manager Sales & Marketing Manager, £60k OTE We have a new range of unique software for Small Businesses (SME's) world-wide. You can help us to grow by creating and managing our sales and marketing efforts for our Software range. Due to the potential growth in our Software business we wish to create a Sales & Marketing team under the control and leadership and strategy of an expert marketing manager. Initially the manager's role is to perform the sales activities (initially locally, NI, RoI & GB), to increase the sales revenue, in other words, to derive, execute and prove their Sales and Marketing strategy.
As the revenue grows, the manager will recruit and develop the sales team to perform these activities, allowing the him/her to work at the higher level, managing the strategy and the sales team(s). International markets could then be tackled, using the appropriate strategy. We require an individual with a proven track record in the marketing, sales, delivery and support of products.
Some areas you must have experience in (full list upon request):
Sales of software products and services.
Develop a sales and marketing strategies.
The ability to seek out new channels and markets and importantly close sales.
Have knowledge of the sales cycle for software.
Management of telesales and other sales activities.
Creation and management of a sales & marketing team.
Set manage, monitor and achieve sales targets for the various sales personnel or techniques.
Management of advertising & PR campaigns, product launches & creation of marketing literature.
Creation, selection and management of remote sales offices, resellers and affiliates.
An understanding of the 'software-in-a-box' market.
Knowledge of online marketing techniques, email, newsletters, associated activities.
Personal and Corporate communications, you will be a highly effective communicator/negotiator.
Develop strategic partnerships perhaps with 'competitors'.
International travel and commerce, we will require you to travel and stay away from home on occasions. Ability to speak another European Language would be an advantage.
Clean Driving Licence, good computer skills.
We offer an attractive salary £60k OTE (~50% base, ~50% on-target performance).
